Personal growth and
development are correlated with greater happiness. We all want to be happy and
spend our time doing what brings joy and a sense of accomplishment to our
lives. Take a moment out of your daily routine to reflect on your
accomplishments and how they have contributed to your personal growth. Are you
constantly doing something to fulfill someone else’s dream? Or are you on a
stand still not knowing what your next step should be? It’s time to turn the
focus on you and start a self-check.
There are six essential
areas that contribute to your personal growth. Take your time and evaluate each
area. Your health and wellness, financial status, professional (business,
career), personal relationships (family and friends), spiritual and personal
development.
As with the purpose of
life, try the following exercises to identify the aspects of personal growth
that are most important to you.
As we work on personal growth, we can determine which area is weak and begin our focus on improving. We all go through seasons in our lives that we focus on one area more than another, but to return to a life of balance we must want to improve.
After writing the list we can determine goals and help you improve your weaknesses. Don’t forget to say a prayer so that God can bring to mind all your accomplishments and you can honestly determine which area of your life need improvement. Let’s get started!
